• Week 1: Assignment #3

1. Using google.com, find some definitions of blog that explain the characteristics of a blog. WRITE a half-page explanation of what a blog is. Include particular characteristics that make a blog a blog.

2. Using google.com, some other search engine, or your own Internet favorites, find a blog you like and that you would re-visit every week or so. Write a paragraph about it telling what you like about it and be sure to include the URL.

1.) Some definitions of blog are:

web diary, a collection of short dated discussions with commentary, or a way of publishing news and information. Some charictaristics are the entry title of the blog entry, the date of the entry, the permalink, read archives, ect.

A blog is a chronologically organized website updated by an individual with entries/posts. each entry contains the main body, date, and time, stamp and title. the contents of each blog differs . some common themes/ topics of blogs include: personal stories/ diary- like entries, news, commentaries ect.

2.) The blog that i liked best and whould visitevery week is http://www.doggedblog.org this blog is about everything you need to know about animals includeing current events, science, media, culture, dogs, food- and of course actual politics.

WEEK 1: ASSIGNMENT #2:

• 1) Find some blogs that deal with topics that interest you You can find almost anything. Take some time to read and explore them.

2) Choose two blogs — one you really like and one that isn’t so great. Write three paragraphs about the blog you liked best. Write one paragraph about the other one. Why did you like the one that was your favorite? What did you find there? Why was it a better blog than the other one?

The blog I liked best out of; www.Theuniversityofchicagothelawschoolfacultyblog.org and www.doggedblog.org was the dogged blog because it was all about veterinarians and how there is god and bad vets. like how they are intelligant and very well trained. Its important to me because I’ve wanted to become a vet sense the fifth grade. They have succes storys about all the animals they saved, and how exciting their careers are and how happy they are. There is very bad vets to who are just doing it for the money they have a saying posted on the blog: Never attribute to malice that which can be adequtley explained by stupidity. they call the bad vets: were simply not the brightest bulb on the string.

• WEEK 1: ASSIGNMENT #1:

1) Take some time to read this brief article about blogging for beginners Click on some of the links. Read some of the responses by readers.

2) Write three things about blogging you learned at this site that you did not know.

1.) You can find and post job postings on your blog.

2.) A blog is like your own personal journal that you write in on the web, you can get your opinions and thoughts heard or should I say seen.

3.) A weblog is like a guided tour through everybodys brain their thoughts and opinions, its like a guide you get to know personaly.

4.) A blog is were everyone can be themselves and not have to worry about people making fun of their taste because no one knows you.
